It was not in falsehood that We created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them. That is the thought of the unbelievers. But woe to the unbelievers because of the Fire! 27 Shall We treat those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, as Mufsidun (those who associate partners in worship with Allah and commit crimes) on earth? Or shall We treat the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), as the Fujjar (criminals, disbelievers, wicked, etc)? 28 It is a Blessed Book that We have sent down to you (Prophet Muhammad), so that those possessed with minds might ponder its verses and remember. 29 We gave David Solomon. He was an excellent servant who always turned to God. 30 When fast footed steeds were presented to him at evening. 31 And he said: "Alas! I did love the good (these horses) instead of remembering my Lord (in my 'Asr prayer)" till the time was over, and (the sun) had hidden in the veil (of night). 32 Then he said "Bring them (horses) back to me." Then he began to pass his hand over their legs and their necks (till the end of the display). 33 Indeed, We tried Solomon and placed a body (of a child) upon his throne, then he repented. 34 He said: “My Lord, forgive me and bestow upon me a kingdom such as none other after me will deserve. Surely You are the Bounteous Giver.” 35 We therefore gave the wind under his control, moving steadily by his command wherever he wished. 36 and We also subjected the devils to him -- all kinds of builders and divers; 37 And many others bound in bond. 38 “This is Our bestowal – you may therefore bestow favours or withhold them – you will not be questioned.” 39 His reward will be nearness to Us, a good place to return to. 40
