The warnings also came to Pharaoh's people, 41 They belied Our signs everyone thereof; whereof We laid hold of them with the grip of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are you disbelievers mightier than those of the nations which We destroyed before or have you received amnesty through the ancient Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We acting together can defend ourselves"? 44 Soon shall the hosts be routed, and they shall turn (their) backs. 45 Surely the Hour will be the moment of their promise, and that moment will be calamitous and distressing. 46 Indeed the criminals are astray and insane. 47 On the day when they are dragged into the Fire upon their faces (it is said unto them): Feel the touch of hell. 48 Lo! We have created every thing by measure. 49 And Our command is but one (word) swift as the winking of an eye. 50 And We have already destroyed your kinds, so is there any who will remember? 51 And everything they have wrought is in the Writs. 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Verily the God-fearing will be in Gardens and among rivers. 54 honorably seated in the presence of the All-dominant King. 55
