Noah supplicated, "Lord, they have disobeyed me, and followed those whose wealth and children have only added to their ruin; 21 And they contrived a plot of great magnitude, 22 "And they have said: 'You shall not leave your gods, nor shall you leave Wadd, nor Suwa', nor Yaghuth, nor Ya'uq, nor Nasr (names of the idols); 23 And they have led many astray. Increase Thou not the evildoers save in error!' 24 Because of their sins they were drowned and put into the Fire, and they found not for themselves besides Allah [any] helpers. 25 And Noah said, "My Lord, do not leave upon the earth from among the disbelievers an inhabitant. 26 for certainly if You should leave them (alive), they will mislead Your servants, and will beget none but sinners and utter unbelievers. 27 "O my Sustainer! Grant Thy forgiveness unto me and unto my parents, and unto everyone who enters my house as a believer, and unto all believing men and believing women [of later times]; and grant Thou that the doers of evil shall increasingly meet with destruction!" 28
