(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 and raised its vault high and proportioned it; 28 He has made its nights dark and its days bright. 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 produced water and grass therefrom, 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 Then when the Grand Calamity shall come 34 on the Day that man remembers what he strove for 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 then as for him who was insolent 37 And chose the life of the world, 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 About what! You are one to remind of it. 43 Its final end is for your Lord. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear such a day. 45 On the Day when they behold it, [it will seem to them] as if they had tarried [in this world] no longer than one evening or [one night, ending with] its morn! 46
