Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars become dispersed, 2 And when the seas are made to flow forth, 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 Each soul shall know that which it sent afore and that which it left behind. 5 O man! What hath made thee careless concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 In whatever shape He will He could surely have fashioned you. 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 Noble and recording; 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 And verily, the Fujjar (the wicked, disbelievers, sinners and evil-doers) will be in the blazing Fire (Hell), 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
