The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
