Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Verily, [in the life to come] the tree of deadly fruit 43 Food of the sinner. 44 Like molten brass, it seetheth in their bellies 45 like boiling water. 46 “Seize him, and forcibly drag him right to the blazing fire.” 47 Then pour unto their heads the boiling water to torment them". 48 "Taste thou (this)! Truly wast thou mighty, full of honour! 49 "Verily! This is that whereof you used to doubt!" 50 Surely those who fear and follow the straight path will be in a place of peace and security 51 In the midst of gardens and of springs, 52 They shall wear of fine and thick silk, (sitting) face to face; 53 Even so; and We shall espouse them to wide-eyed houris, 54 There can they call for every kind of fruit in peace and security; 55 They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire 56 A grace from your Lord; this is the great achievement. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 Wait thou then; verily they also are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
