I swear by that which ye see. 38 And by whatsoever you see not, 39 it is the speech of a noble Messenger. 40 and is not - however little you may [be prepared to] believe it - the word of a poet; 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller), little is that you remember! 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would have definitely taken revenge from him. 45 and then severed his life vein; 46 not one of you could have prevented it from him. 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 And lo! We know that some among you will deny (it). 49 yet, behold, this [rejection] will indeed become a source of bitter regret for all who deny the truth [of God's revelation] 50 And lo! it is absolute truth. 51 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), proclaim the purity of your Lord, the Greatest. 52
