The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the glorious morning light; 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 Thy Lord shall give thee, and thou shalt be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 And He found you lost and guided [you], 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 and chide not him who asks, 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa). Sent down in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
