But nay, I swear by all that you can see 38 And by whatsoever you see not, 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 It is not the speech of a poet little do you believe 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer -- how little you reflect! 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if he had invented false sayings concerning Us, 44 We assuredly had taken him by the right hand 45 Then We would have cut from him the aorta. 46 and not one of you would have been able to withhold Us from doing so. 47 And surely it is an admonition to the God-fearing. 48 And most surely We know that some of you are rejecters. 49 and (on the Day of Judgment) this will be a great source of regret for the unbelievers. 50 Certainly it is a Truth of absolute certainty. 51 So glorify the name of thy Tremendous Lord. 52
