The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 Is food for the sinful. 44 Like dregs of oil; it shall boil in (their) bellies, 45 as boiling water bubbles. 46 [And the word will be spoken:] "Seize him, [O you forces of hell,] and drag him into the midst of the blazing fire: 47 Then pour over his head from the torment of scalding water." 48 Taste; you forsooth are the mighty, the honorable: 49 This is the torment that you persistently doubted". 50 Lo! those who kept their duty will be in a place secured. 51 among gardens and springs, 52 Attired in silk and silk embroidery, facing one another. 53 So (it will be), and We shall marry them to Houris (female fair ones) with wide, lovely eyes. 54 therein calling for every fruit, secure. 55 They taste not death therein, save the first death. And He hath saved them from the doom of hell, 56 God will protect them from the torment of hell as a favor from your Lord. (Muhammad), this is certainly the greatest triumph. 57 And We have made (this Scripture) easy in thy language only that they may heed. 58 Wait, then; they too are waiting. 59
