The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
