Indeed the pious are amidst Gardens and springs. 45 (Their greeting will be): "Enter ye here in peace and security." 46 We shall cleanse their hearts of all traces of ill-will; they will be like brethren seated on couches facing one another. 47 Toil shall not afflict them in it, nor shall they be ever ejected from it. 48 ۞ Announce, (O Muhammad) unto My slaves that verily I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 And that My Torment is indeed the most painful torment. 50 And declare thou unto them of Ibrahim's guests. 51 [how,] when they presented themselves before him and bade him peace, he answered: "Behold, we are afraid of you!" 52 "Have no fear," they said. "We bring you news of a son full of wisdom." 53 He said: bear ye me glad tidings when old age hath touched me? of what then ye bear me glad tidings? 54 They said: we bear tidings of a truth; be then thou not of the desponding. 55 [Abraham] exclaimed: "And who - other than those who have utterly lost their way - could ever abandon the hope of his Sustainer's grace?" 56 [Ibrahim (Abraham) again] said: "What then is the business on which you have come, O Messengers?" 57 They said: verily we have been sent unto a people guilty 58 Except for Lot's household, all of whom we shall rescue, 59 "Other than his wife who, it is decreed, will remain with those who will stay behind." 60
