Al-Mu' minoon 4 of 6
Messengers! Partake of the things that are clean, and act righteously. I know well all that you do. 51 And verily this religion of yours is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me. 52 The people divided themselves into many sects, each with their own book and each happy with whatever they had. 53 So leave them in their error till a time. 54 Do they think that We are helping them by giving them children and property? 55 We are hastening them on to good things? Aye! they perceive not. 56 Verily those who for fear of their Lord are in awe. 57 who have full faith in the Signs of their Lord; 58 And those who with their Lord associate not anyone. 59 And those who dispense their charity with their hearts full of fear, because they will return to their Lord;- 60 it is they who vie with one another in doing good works, and it is they who outrun [all others] in attaining to them! 61 And we task not any soul beyond its scope, and with Us is a Record which speaketh the truth, and they will not be wronged. 62 Nay, but their hearts are in ignorance of this (Qur'an), and they have other works, besides, which they are doing; 63 But when We will strike with torment those (unbelievers) who are rich, they will start to cry for help. 64 "Do not supplicate for help today; you will not be rescued by Us; 65 “My verses were recited to you, so you used to turn back on your heels.” 66 In scorn thereof. Nightly did ye rave together. 67 Why did they not think over the message? Or has something come to them which had not come to their fathers? 68 Or know they not their messenger, and so reject him? 69 or you said that he is possessed by satan? In fact, he has brought you the truth, but most of you dislike it. 70 Had truth been subject to their whims the heavens and the earth and all those within them would have been depraved. In fact We had sent them their reminder, but they turned away from good advice. 71 Or are you asking them for any reward? But the reward of your Lord is the best, for He is the Best of Providers, 72 and, most surely, you are calling them to a straight path. 73 And lo! those who believe not in the Hereafter are indeed astray from the path. 74 ۞ Were We to be merciful to them and remove from them their present afflictions, they would persist in their transgression, blindly wandering on. 75 And indeed, We tested them through suffering, but they did not abase themselves before their Sustainer; and they will never humble themselves 76 Until when We shall open upon them a portal of severe torment, and lo! thereat they are desparing. 77

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
