Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the sky is cleft asunder; 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 when the oceans are gushed forth, 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man, what seduced you from your munificent Lord 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 And verily the ungodly shall be in a Scorch. 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 to burn therein. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
