The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 And what do you know what the Calamity is? 3 On that Day people shall become like scattered moths 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 shall find himself in a happy state of life; 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 His refuge will be an abyss. 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
