We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
