۞ Have you not considered those who make allies of a people with whom Allah has become angry? They are neither of you nor of them, and they swear to untruth while they know [they are lying]. 14 God has prepared a severe punishment for them; surely what they have done is evil. 15 They have used their oaths to cover up their misdeeds and have thus turned others away from the path of God. A humiliating punishment awaits them. 16 Never will their wealth or their children avail them against Allah at all. Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally 17 On the day when God will resurrect them all together, they will swear to Him as they swore to you and they will think that they have a good case but they are certainly liars. 18 Satan has dominated them and has made them forget the guidance of God. They are Satan's party and the party of Satan will certainly suffer a great loss. 19 Verily those who oppose Allah and His Messenger will be among the most abject beings. 20 Allah has written, "I will surely overcome, I and My messengers." Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might. 21 Thou wilt not find any people who believe in Allah and the Last Day, loving those who resist Allah and His Messenger, even though they were their fathers or their sons, or their brothers, or their kindred. For such He has written Faith in their hearts, and strengthened them with a spirit from Himself. And He will admit them to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, to dwell therein (for ever). Allah will be well pleased with them, and they with Him. They are the Party of Allah. Truly it is the Party of Allah that will achieve Felicity. 22
