VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 "Enter in peace and tranquility," (they will be told). 46 We shall remove all rancor from their hearts, and as brethren they shall recline on couches face to face. 47 No weariness will come upon them, nor will they be sent away from there. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I - I alone - am truly forgiving, a true dispenser of grace; 49 and that My punishment is a painful one. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham. 51 When they entered upon him and said, "Peace." [Abraham] said, "Indeed, we are fearful of you." 52 They said, "Do not be afraid. We come to you with good news. You shall have a son who shall be endowed with great knowledge." 53 He said, "Have you given me good tidings although old age has come upon me? Then of what [wonder] do you inform?" 54 They said: We bring thee good tidings in truth. So be not thou of the despairing. 55 He said: And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord but the erring ones? 56 He said: And afterward what is your business, O ye messengers (of Allah)? 57 They replied: 'We are sent to sinful nation. 58 Only the family of Lot will all be saved, 59 except his wife. We have decreed that she will be among those who remain behind [and will be lost]. 60
