Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 So, do not be hasty with them. We are counting their number (of days). 84 and on the Day when We will ceremonially gather the righteous to the Merciful, 85 And shall drive the culprits to Hell as a herd. 86 No one will have power to intercede, except for those who have permission from the Lord of Mercy. 87 They say: "God has begotten a son." 88 Assuredly, you have uttered a monstrous falsehood: 89 This would almost cause the heavens to rent apart, the earth to cleave asunder and the mountains to crumble down in fragments, 90 because they have ascribed a son to the Merciful. 91 although it is inconceivable that the Most Gracious should take unto Himself a son! 92 All those who are in the heavens and the earth will come to the Most Gracious as His bondmen. 93 He has counted them and exactly numbered all; 94 And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 So We have made it easy in thine tongue in order that thou mayest thereby give glad tidings unto the Godfearing and warn thereby a people contentious. 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound? 98
