۞ Also We revealed unto Moses, 'Go with My servants by night; surely you will be followed.' 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 and they have enraged us, 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
