Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Qaf. By the glorious Qur'an. 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say, "This is an amazing thing. 2 What, when we are dead and become dust? That is a far returning!' 3 We know that which the earth taketh of them, and with Us is a recording Book. 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 Have they not observed the sky above them and marked how We have built it and adorned it, leaving no flaws in it; 6 And the earth! We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and have produced therein every kind of lovely growth (plants). 7 To give sight and as a reminder to every servant who turns frequently (to Allah). 8 And We have sent down blessed rain from the sky and made grow thereby gardens and grain from the harvest 9 and tall palmtrees with compact spathes 10 As a provision for our bondmen; and therewith We have quickened a dead land. Even so will be the coming forth. 11 In the past Noah's people, and the people of Rass and Thamud gave the lie (to Messengers), 12 And Ad and Firon and Lut's brethren, 13 The Companions of the Wood, and the People of Tubba'; each one (of them) rejected the messengers, and My warning was duly fulfilled (in them). 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No indeed; but they are in uncertainty as to the new creation. 15
