The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 when the earth shakes off her burdens, 2 And man will say: "What is the matter with it?" 3 That Day, it will report its news 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 7 and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
