The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
