Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say: "This is a momentous message, 67 yet you ignore it. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Assembly's dispute. 69 This alone is revealed to me, I am only a clear warner' 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 after I have shaped him and breathed of My spirit (I created) into him, fall down prostrate before him' 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them: 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 He said: I am better than he: me Thou hast created of fire, and him Thou hast created of clay. 76 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 77 And surely My curse is on you to the day of judgment. 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 so He said, "You are granted respite 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 (Iblis) said: “By Your glory, I shall mislead them all 82 “Except Your chosen bondmen among them.” 83 (God) said: "This is right by Me, and what I say is right. 84 Most certainly will I fill hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together!" 85 Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it; nor am I of those who affect: 86 It, (the Quran), is nothing but a reminder to you from the Lord of the Universe. 87 And ye shall surely come to know the truth thereof after a season. 88
