The warnings also came to Pharaoh's people, 41 but they gave the lie to Our Signs, to all of them. Thereupon We seized them with the seizing of the Most Mighty, the Most Powerful. 42 Are you disbelievers mightier than those of the nations which We destroyed before or have you received amnesty through the ancient Scriptures? 43 Or say they: We are a host victorious? 44 The army will be routed and put to flight. 45 Rather, the Hour is their encounter. And that Hour will be most calamitous and bitter. 46 Verily, the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.) are in error (in this world) and will burn (in the Hell-fire in the Hereafter). 47 On the Day when they shall be dragged into the fire on their faces, [they will be told:] "Taste now the touch of hell-fire!" 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you; is there any that will remember? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 And everything, small and big is written (in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz already beforehand i.e. before it befalls, or is done by its doer) (See the Quran V. 57:22). 53 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers, 54 In the seat of honor with a most Powerful King. 55
