By no means! By the moon, 32 By the night when it withdraweth. 33 And by oath of the morning, when it spreads light. 34 surely it is one of the greatest things 35 As a warning unto men, 36 alike to every one of you, who want to go forward or hang back. 37 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained 38 save the Companions of the Right; 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 They shall say: We were not of those who prayed; 43 And we have not been feeding the poor. 44 "And we used to talk falsehood (all that which Allah hated) with vain talkers. 45 And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 till the Certain came to us.' -- 47 So the intercession of intercessors shall not avail them. 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 like frightened donkeys 50 fleeing -- before a lion? 51 Is it that everyone of them wants to receive a heavenly book addressed to him personally? 52 Nay! but they do not fear the hereafter. 53 By no means! Verily this Qur'an is an admonition. 54 So, whoever wills may benefit from it. 55 But they will not remember except as God wills: He is worthy to be feared, and He is worthy of forgiving 56
