The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 when the earth shakes off her burdens, 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 That day she will relate her chronicles, 4 Because your Lord has inspired it. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8
