The Ant (Al-Naml)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Ta-Sin. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings]. These are the Verses of the Quran, and (it is) a Book (that makes things) clear; 1 A guidance and good news for the believers, 2 Who establish the prayer and give the poor-rate, and of the Hereafter they are convinced. 3 We have made the deeds of those who do not believe in the life to come, attractive to them and they wander about blindly. 4 They will suffer the worst kind of torment and will be lost in the life to come. 5 You have received this Quran from One who is all-wise, all-knowing. 6 Lo! [While lost in the desert,] Moses said to his family: "Behold, I perceive a fire [far away]; I may bring you from there some tiding [as to which way we are to pursue,] or bring you [at least] a burning brand so that you might warm yourselves." 7 Then when he came unto it, he was cried unto: Thus; Blest is whosoever is in the fire and whosoever is around it; and hallowed be Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. 8 O Moses, verily this is Me, Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise! 9 Now cast your rod!" But when he saw the rod writhing as though it were a serpent, he turned his back in retreat and did not even look behind. "O Moses, have no fear. Messengers have no fear in My presence, 10 "But if any have done wrong and have thereafter substituted good to take the place of evil, truly, I am Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 11 “And put your hand inside your armpit – it will come out shining white, not due to any illness; a sign among the nine signs towards Firaun and his people; they are indeed a lawless nation.” 12 And when Our signs came as distinct proofs, they said: "This is only magic." 13 and in their wickedness and self-exaltation they rejected them, although their minds were convinced of their truth: and behold what happened in the end to those spreaders of corruption! 14
