Al-Saaffaat 3 of 5
And indeed Nuh (Noah) invoked Us, and We are the Best of those who answer (the request). 75 We saved him and his people from the great distress, 76 And his offspring! them We made the survivors. 77 And We left for him among the posterity. 78 Peace on Noah among all men. 79 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 80 Surely he was of Our believing servants. 81 Then We did drown the others. 82 ۞ And Abraham indeed was of his inducement, 83 when he came unto his Lord with a pure heart, 84 When he said to his father and to his people: "What is it that which you worship? 85 Is it a calumny, gods apart from God, that you desire? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the whole Universe?” 87 And he cast a glance at the stars, 88 and said, "I am sick!" 89 And they turned their backs on him and went away. (The pagans thought he would transmit the disease). 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said, 'What do you eat? 91 Why do you not speak?" 92 Then he attacked them, striking with his right hand. 93 whereupon people came to him running. 94 He said: worship ye that which ye carve. 95 when it is Allah who created you and all that you do' 96 They said: build for him a building and cast him into the flaming fire. 97 And they devised a plot for him, but We made them the humble. 98 And he said: verily I am going to my Lord who will guide me. 99 My Lord! grant me of the doers of good deeds. 100 We therefore gave him the glad tidings of an intelligent son. 101 And when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, "O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think." He said, "O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, of the steadfast." 102 So when they both submitted and he threw him down upon his forehead, 103 And We called out to him saying: O Ibrahim! 104 thou hast already fulfilled [the purpose of] that dream-vision!" Thus, verily, do We reward the doers of good: 105 Verily that! that was a trial manifest. 106 And We ransomed him with a Feat sacrifice. 107 and left him thus to be remembered among later generations: 108 Peace be on Abraham. 109 That is how We recompense the righteous: 110 Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves. 111 And we gave him tidings of the birth of Isaac, a prophet of the righteous. 112 and We blessed him and Isaac, and from their offspring are some gooddoers, and others who clearly wronged themselves. 113

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
