Verily the tree of Zaqqum: 43 Is the food of the sinful 44 It is like pitch. It will fume in the belly 45 As the seething of boiling water. 46 [And the word will be spoken:] "Seize him, [O you forces of hell,] and drag him into the midst of the blazing fire: 47 then pour over his head the anguish of burning despair! 48 "Taste it," (they will be told). "You were indeed the mighty and noble! 49 "Truly this is what ye used to doubt!" 50 But those mindful of God will be in a safe place, 51 Amid gardens and watersprings, 52 Dressed in fine silk and (also) in thick silk, facing each other, 53 Just like that. We shall pair them with companions with large black eyes. 54 therein calling for every fruit, secure. 55 They will never taste death therein except the first death (of this world), and He will save them from the torment of the blazing Fire, 56 As a Bounty from your Lord! That will be the supreme success! 57 And indeed, We have eased the Qur'an in your tongue that they might be reminded. 58 So watch, [O Muhammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end]. 59
