۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 Whereas you watch at that moment! 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 This is indeed an utmost certainty. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
