The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
