It was He who produced for you hearing, eyes, and hearts, yet little is that you thank. 78 And it is He Who has spread you in the earth, and towards Him you are to be raised. 79 It is He Who gives life and death, and to Him (is due) the alternation of Night and Day: will ye not then understand? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what the men of old said. 81 They said: "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected indeed? 82 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples." 83 Ask them: "Whose is the earth and those who are in it? Tell us if you know" 84 They will say, "To God." Say, "So will you not pay heed? 85 Say, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Glorious Throne?" 86 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: Will you not then guard (against evil)? 87 Say: In Whose hand is the dominion over all things and He protecteth, while against Him there is no protection, if ye have knowledge? 88 [And] they will reply: "[All this power belongs] to God." Say: 'How, then, can you be so deluded?" 89 Nay, but We brought them the truth and they are truly liars. 90 Never did Allah take unto Himself any son, nor is there any god other than He. (Had there been any other gods) each god would have taken his creatures away with him, and each would have rushed to overpower the other. Glory be to Allah from all that they characterize Him with! 91 (He is) the Knower of the Unseen and the Seen, High Exalted be He above that they associate. 92
