Surely warners came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 They cried lies to Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with the seizing of One mighty, omnipotent. 42 Are your people who deny the truth better than those? Or have you been given immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say, 'We are a congregation that shall be succoured?' 44 The army will be routed and put to flight. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their tryst, and the Hour is very calamitous and bitter. 46 Lo! the guilty are in error and madness. 47 The Day they will be dragged in the Fire on their faces (it will be said to them): "Taste you the touch of Hell!" 48 We have created everything in a determined measure. 49 And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We have already destroyed your kinds, so is there any who will remember? 51 All their deeds are recorded in their books: 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Surely those who shun disobedience will dwell amidst Gardens and running streams 54 In an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
