Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, 93 O my Lord, do not put me among the harmdoing people' 94 We have the Power to strike them with torment before your very eyes. 95 Repel evil with what is best, We are well aware of the things they say, 96 And say: "My Lord! I seek refuge with You from the whisperings (suggestions) of the Shayatin (devils). 97 “And my Lord, (I seek) Your refuge from their coming to me.” 98 (But the unbelievers will persist) until when death comes to one of them he will say: "O Lord, send me back again 99 so that perhaps I shall act righteously for the rest of my life." Although he will say so but his wish will never come true. After death they will be behind a barrier until the day of their resurrection. 100 For when the Trumpet is blown, that day there shall be no kinship any more between them, neither will they question one another. 101 Then he whose balances shall be heavy - these! they are the blissful ones. 102 and he whose scales are light -- they have lost their souls in Gehenna dwelling forever, 103 The Fire shall scorch their faces, exposing their jaws. 104 Were not My messages recited to you and did you not reject them? 105 They shall say, 'Our Lord, our adversity prevailed over us; we were an erring people. 106 O our Lord! Take us out of it; then if we return (to evil) surely we shall be unjust. 107 He saith: Begone therein, and speak not unto Me. 108 Surely there was a party of My servants who said: O our Lord! we believe, so do Thou forgive us and have mercy on us, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 109 Then ye took them mockingly, so that they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, and at them ye were wont to laugh. 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, so that they, and they alone, are triumphant." 111 He will say: How long tarried ye in the earth, counting by years? 112 They will say: "We stayed for a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count of this." 113 He shall say, 'You have tarried but a little, did you know. 114 What! did you then think that We had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to Us? 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King! there is no god but he, Lord of the Throne honoured. 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 Say: "My Lord, forgive and have mercy. You are the best of the merciful." 118
