And indeed, the Qur'an is the revelation of the Lord of the worlds. 192 It has been revealed through the trustworthy Spirit 193 To thy heart and mind, that thou mayest admonish. 194 in a clear, Arabic tongue. 195 And indeed it is mentioned in the earlier Books. 196 Is it not a sign unto them that the learned among the Children of Isra'il know it? 197 And had We revealed it unto any of the non-Arabs, 198 they would still not have believed in it. 199 This is how We have made (the habit of) denying embedded in the hearts of the guilty. 200 they will not believe in it till they behold the grievous suffering 201 that will come upon them [on resurrection,] all of a sudden, without their being aware [of its approach]; 202 Then they will say: Are we to be reprieved? 203 What! do they still seek to hasten on Our punishment? 204 Think! If We let them enjoy life for some years, 205 and then Our torment will strike them, 206 none of their luxuries will be able to save them from the torment? 207 And withal, never have We destroyed any community unless it had been warned 208 As a reminder; and never have We been unjust. 209 The satans did not bring down this (Clear Book), 210 It is not allowable for them, nor would they be able. 211 Indeed they have been removed far from even (a chance of) hearing it. 212 So do not invoke with Allah another deity and [thus] be among the punished. 213 and warn your nearest kinsmen; 214 And be kind to him who follows you of the believers. 215 but if they disobey thee, say: "I am free of responsibility for aught that you may do!" 216 And rely upon (Allah) the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 217 Who watches you when you stand up. 218 and [sees] thy behaviour among those who prostrate themselves [before Him]: 219 Verily! He, only He, is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower. 220 Should I tell you on whom the devils descend? 221 They descend upon all sinful self-deceivers 222 Who listens to you (for spreading rumours); but most of them are liars. 223 And the astray follow the poets. 224 Have you not seen them wandering and bewildered in every valley 225 And that they say that which they do not do, 226 Except those who believe, and do good works and remember Allah in abundance and became victorious after they had been wronged. The wrongdoers will surely know which turn they will be returning to (Hell). 227
