Say: "Truly am I a Warner: no god is there but the one Allah, Supreme and Irresistible,- 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Mighty, the Pardoning. 66 Say: 'This is a mighty message 67 To which you pay no heed. 68 "I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam). 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 When thy Lord said to the angels, 'See, I am creating a mortal of a clay. 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down before him in prostration!" 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 but not Satan, who was too proud. He became one of those who deny the truth. 74 Said He, 'Iblis, what prevented thee to bow thyself before that I created with My own hands? Hast thou waxed proud, or art thou of the lofty ones?' 75 Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 76 [Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled. 77 And lo! My curse is on thee till the Day of Judgment. 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 [Allah] said, "The truth [is My oath], and the truth I say - 84 That I will fill Hell with you [Iblis (Satan)] and those of them (mankind) that follow you, together." 85 Say: 'I ask of you no wage for it, neither am I of those who take things upon themselves. 86 This is nothing but an Admonition for all people the world over. 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88
