The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
