The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe unto every backbiter, slanderer, 1 Who accumulated wealth and hoarded it, counting. 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever! 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 roaring over the hearts 7 verily, it will close in upon them 8 In outstretched columns. 9
