Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
