Observest thou not those who wrangle concerning the revelations of Allah? whither are they turning away! 69 Those who rejected the Book and the message which was given to Our Messenger will soon know (the consequences of their evil deeds). 70 when they shall have to carry the shackles and chains [of their own making] around their necks, 71 Through boiling water, and then burnt in the Fire. 72 then it is said to them, 'Where are those you associated, apart from God?' 73 "In derogation of Allah?" They will reply: "They have left us in the lurch: Nay, we invoked not, of old, anything (that had real existence)." Thus does Allah leave the Unbelievers to stray. 74 (And it is said unto them): This is because ye exulted in the earth without right, and because ye were petulant. 75 Enter ye the gates of hell, to dwell therein. Evil is the habitation of the scornful. 76 So you persevere with patience (in your mission). The promise of God is true. Whether We show you some of the punishment We have promised them, or gather you up in death, they have to come back to Us. 77 Indeed We sent many Noble Messengers before you, so We have related to you the affairs of some among them, and not related the affairs of some; and no Noble Messenger has the right to bring any sign except with the command of Allah; so the time when the command of Allah comes, the true judgement will be delivered and there will the people of falsehood be ruined. 78
