The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the Event (the resurrection) comes 1 there will be nought that could give the lie to its having come to pass, 2 abasing, exalting, 3 When the earth is shaken 4 The mountains bruised and crushed, 5 And become dust dispersing. 6 [on that Day] you shall be divided into three groups. 7 (First) those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand? 8 Companions of the Left, what are the Companions of the Left? 9 As for the Foremost, they will be the foremost! 10 (The foremost ones) will be the nearest ones to God 11 In gardens of tranquility; 12 A number of people from those of old, 13 and a lesser number from the later generations. 14 (They will be) on Thrones encrusted (with gold and precious stones), 15 reclining upon them, set face to face, 16 There will circulate among them young boys made eternal 17 With goblets, (shining) beakers, and cups (filled) out of clear-flowing fountains: 18 They shall not be affected with headache thereby, nor shall they get exhausted, 19 along with fruits of their choice; 20 And flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 They will have maidens with large, lovely black and white eyes, 22 like the pearls in their shells: 23 The reward for what they did. 24 They will not hear any unnecessary or sinful talk 25 Except the word peace, peace. 26 As for those of the right hand -- how (happy) those of the right hand -- 27 Midst lote-trees thornless. 28 And acacia covered with heaps of bloom, 29 And spreading shade, 30 and waters gushing, 31 And fruit abundant. 32 Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden, 33 And [upon] beds raised high. 34 We have formed them in a distinctive fashion, 35 We have made them virgins, 36 full of love, well-matched 37 For those on the right hand; 38

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
