He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ He frowned and then turned away 1 Because a blind man came to him. 2 How could you know? Perhaps he would cleanse himself, 3 Or that he might receive admonition, and the teaching might profit him? 4 As for him who considers himself free from need (of you), 5 to him thou attendest 6 Whereas it is not on thee that he is not cleansed. 7 And as to him who comes to you striving hard, 8 And is afraid (of Allah and His Punishment), 9 You neglect. 10 Nay, (do not do like this), indeed it (these Verses of this Quran) are an admonition, 11 So whoever wills may remember it. 12 In honored books, 13 Exalted and holy, 14 In the hands of scribes 15 Noble and pious. 16 Cursed be man! how ungrateful is he! 17 From what thing doth He create him? 18 Out of a drop of sperm He creates him, and thereupon determines his nature, 19 and then made the course of life easy for him, 20 then causes him to die and buries him, 21 Then when He pleases, He will bring him back to life. 22 By no means hath he fulfilled what Allah hath commanded him. 23 Let man consider his food: 24 That We pour forth water in abundance, 25 and let the earth to break open 26 Then We cause to grow therein the grain, 27 and vines, and reeds, 28 Olives and dates, 29 And gardens, dense with many trees, 30 fruits, and grass. 31 A provision for you and your cattle. 32 But, when the Blast comes, 33 The day on which a man shall fly from his brother, 34 his mother, his father, 35 his wife and his children. 36 Everyman, that Day, will have enough to make him careless of others. 37 Many a face will be glittering on that day. 38 Laughing, rejoicing at good news (of Paradise). 39 And (many) faces on that day, on them shall be dust, 40 and covered by darkness. 41 Those are the disbelievers, the wicked ones. 42
True are the words of God the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
Practice memorizing the Quran (Hifz) with different levels from beginner to expert. Exercise pages hide some words depending on the level, also done in beautiful colors.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
