Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are made to flow forth, 3 And when the graves are overturned. 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 Yet you deny the Last Judgement. 9 you do so the while there are watchers over you; 10 Noble and recording; 11 Who know what you do. 12 Behold, [in the life to come] the truly virtuous: will indeed be in bliss, 13 and the libertines shall be in a fiery furnace 14 [a fire] which they shall enter on Judgment Day, 15 And they will not be able to keep away therefrom. 16 And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 17 Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
