Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
