The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The Clatterer (the Day of Judgement)! 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 Would that you knew what the crash is! 3 [It will occur] on the Day when men will be like moths swarming in confusion, 4 and the mountains shall be like plucked wool-tufts. 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 but he whose scales weigh lighter, 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 A flaming fire! 11
