Moses said, "My Lord! open up my heart, 25 And make my mission easy. 26 Remove the defect of my tongue 27 “In order that they may understand my speech.” 28 Appoint for me a minister from my family 29 Aaron my brother 30 Increase through him my strength 31 “And make him a partner in my task.” 32 So shall we glorify Thee, 33 and remember You abundantly. 34 Verily, You have always watched over us." 35 Said He, 'Thou art granted, Moses, thy petition. 36 Indeed, We showed Our favour to you before also, 37 when We inspired thy mother with this inspiration: 38 [Saying], 'Cast him into the chest and cast it into the river, and the river will throw it onto the bank; there will take him an enemy to Me and an enemy to him.' And I bestowed upon you love from Me that you would be brought up under My eye. 39 "Behold! thy sister goeth forth and saith, 'shall I show you one who will nurse and rear the (child)?' So We brought thee back to thy mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve. Then thou didst slay a man, but We saved thee from trouble, and We tried thee in various ways. Then didst thou tarry a number of years with the people of Midian. Then didst thou come hither as ordained, O Moses! 40 I have chosen thee for My service; 41 go therefore, thou and thy brother; with My signs, and neglect not to remember Me. 42 "Go, both of you, to Pharaoh, for he has indeed transgressed all bounds; 43 "But speak to him mildly; perchance he may take warning or fear (Allah)." 44 Both said: O our Lord! Surely we fear that he may hasten to do evil to us or that he may become inordinate. 45 He said; fear not; verily I shall be with you twain: I shall hear and see. 46 So, go to him, and say: 'Behold, both of us are the Messengers of your Lord. Let the Children of Israel go with us, and do not chastise them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord; and peace shall be for him who follows the true guidance. 47 it has been revealed to us that punishment shall overtake him who rejects it and turns away!'" 48 The Pharaoh asked them, "Who is your Lord?" 49 He said: Our Lord is He Who gave to everything its creation, then guided it (to its goal). 50 He (Pharaoh) asked: 'How was it then, with the former generations' 51 [Musa (Moses)] said: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord, in a Record. My Lord is neither unaware nor He forgets, " 52 Who hath appointed the earth as a bed and hath threaded roads for you therein and hath sent down water from the sky and thereby We have brought forth divers kinds of vegetation, 53 To eat and feed your cattle. Surely there are signs in these for those who are wise. 54
