The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Triumphant indeed are the believers, 1 those who, in their Prayers, humble themselves; 2 And who do not incline towards indecent matters. 3 And who pay the (obligatory) charity. 4 And who guard their private organs. 5 except with their wives and what their right hand possess, and then they are not blamed. 6 Those who seek beyond that are transgressors. 7 And those who are keepers of their trusts and their covenant, 8 And who guard their prayers. 9 It is they, they who shall be the inheritors 10 Who shall inherit Paradise; therein they shall be abiders. 11 And assuredly We created man of an extract of clay. 12 then We made him into a drop of life-germ, then We placed it in a safe depository, 13 Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, and We made the clot into a lump [of flesh], and We made [from] the lump, bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allah, the best of creators. 14 And then you will certainly die, 15 Then (again), surely, you will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection. 16 We have created seven ways above you; of Our creation, We are never inattentive. 17 And We sent down from the heaven water in measure, and We caused it to settle in the earth; and verily to take it away We are Able. 18 So with it We produced gardens of date-palms and grapes for you, in which is abundant fruit for you and you eat therefrom. 19 We have also created for you the tree that grows on Mount Sinai which produces oil and relish for those who use it. 20 And verily in the cattle for you is a lesson. We give you to drink of that which is in their bellies, and for you in them are advantages many, and of them ye eat. 21 You are carried by the animals on land and by the ships in the sea. 22
