Observest thou not those who wrangle concerning the revelations of Allah? whither are they turning away! 69 Those who deny the Book and that with which We sent Our messengers - they are going to know, 70 When carcans are about their necks and chains. They are dragged 71 Into boiling water, then in the fire shall they be burned; 72 Then shall it be said to them: Where is that which you used to set up 73 Other than Allah?" They will say, "They have departed from us; rather, we did not used to invoke previously anything." Thus does Allah put astray the disbelievers. 74 They will be told, "This (torment) is the result of your unreasonable happiness on the earth and of your propagation of falsehood. 75 "Enter ye the gates of Hell, to dwell therein: and evil is (this) abode of the arrogant!" 76 So be patient, (O Prophet). Surely Allah's promise is true. Whether We show them a part of the woeful consequences against which We warn them (while you are still in their midst) or We recall you (from this world) before that, eventually it is to Us that they shall be brought back. 77 And We have already sent messengers before you. Among them are those [whose stories] We have related to you, and among them are those [whose stories] We have not related to you. And it was not for any messenger to bring a sign [or verse] except by permission of Allah. So when the command of Allah comes, it will be concluded in truth, and the falsifiers will thereupon lose [all]. 78
